Healthy Kids Gold & Infants Expanded

What is Healthy Kids Gold?

Healthy Kids Gold is free health and dental coverage for children. The income guidelines are expanded to allow infants from families with higher income to qualify for this program. If you are eligible, you will receive a Healthy Kids Gold card to use at the doctor, dentist or pharmacy. The benefits are provided through the NH Department of Health and Human Services.

Who Qualifies?

To qualify for Healthy Kids Gold, a child must be:

• Under the age of 19
• A New Hampshire resident
• A U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
• His/her family’s income falls within the Healthy Kids Gold income guidelines

When Does Coverage Begin?

Coverage could start as early as the date we received your application. Also, if your child received any medical care in the 90 days prior to your application, those services may be covered.

Healthy Kids Gold Infants Expanded

The Healthy Kids Gold Infants Expanded program provides free health coverage to babies from birth to age 1. The income guidelines for this program are expanded to allow infants from families with higher income to qualify for Healthy Kids Gold. All of the benefits are the same as the Healthy Kids Gold program.
